Attic Water Heater Leak

This home suffered from significant water damage after a water heater leak from the attic. The damage was throughout the house in the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms.

SERVPRO of Bartlett / Cordova quickly arrived and began mitigation. The kitchen ceiling had collapsed and partially collapsed in the living room, leaving insulation and debris throughout. The team promptly started the cleanup process. They removed wet drywall, insulation, water loss belongings, flooring, and carpet pad. After all the water was removed, air movers and dehumidifiers were put in place to start the drying process. Air scrubbers were also used to clean the kitchen's air due to a large amount of fiberglass insulation that had fallen from the attic.
