Cordova, TN, Home Suffers Broken Pipe

This home in Cordova, TN, had a broken pipe in the ceiling break flooding this room, the hall, and the stairs. When water goes through building materials, it is sometimes better to remove the carpet and pad due to bacteria. In this case, the insurance agreed that we could remove the old carpet and pad. Once removed, we spent the next few days drying out the wet subfloor and ceiling.

Once it was all dry and disinfected, we replaced the ceiling with new drywall and paint; and finally replaced the carpet and pad. The room looked great, and the homeowner and insurance were thankful for the work we did.
